罗三拐无意间在四季香饭馆发现了混在一笼菜鸽子里的信鸽，恍然大悟，终于明白了许暴牙和内奸的联络渠道。 餐馆的裘老板发觉暴露，趁夜潜到罗家打黑枪，差点击毙罗三拐。关大铭当机立断将计就计，制造罗三拐中枪命危的假象麻痹对手，引蛇出洞。袁润找沈仕杰谈话，安排他到省厅培训学习，时间半年，这是组织上对他的培养。沈仕杰提出监视郑福元的工作还没有结束，要不要移交。袁润说没有必要，对郑福元的监控不会有价值，干脆撤了。半夜里，一个黑影钻进档案室，撬开墙角几匹砖，从暗洞里提出一个沉甸甸的布袋。没料到灯光骤亮，关大铭等人站在他面前，人赃俱获，布袋里是一百根金条。审讯室里，沈仕杰坦白了他就是许暴牙的内线“灯影儿”，两人已经暗中勾结多年，利用四季香饭馆作为联络掩护，每次有紧要事情，许暴牙就把信鸽混在菜鸽里送来，沈仕杰再把信鸽放飞回去。当罗兴泉偶然发现这个秘密后，他只好铤而走险，指使裘老板打黑枪杀人灭口。谭巧芸藏在哪里沈仕杰不知道，但他愿意立功赎罪争取宽大，写了张字条，放飞了在四季香饭店查获的信鸽。谭巧芸接到“灯影儿”一切安排妥当的信，带上金条到约定的地点见面。 沈仕杰等在文庙前的旗杆下，四周已埋伏了公安人员。贾小蝈找不到合适的埋伏点，钻进了路边一家铁匠铺。化装成拾破烂老妪的“谭巧芸”走近了沈仕杰，正要开口，公安人员冲出来围住她，谁知她不是谭巧芸。原来狡猾的谭巧芸花钱找了个替身来试探，自己躲在远处的铁匠铺里悄悄偷窥。见机不妙正要溜走，劈面撞上也躲在里面的贾小蝈。 谭巧芸被抓获后，查出随身背篼里的一百根金条。她说许暴牙抢劫钱庄后只带回来一百根，其他的她不知情。通泰钱庄被抢三百根金条，还有一百根哪里去了？
