关大铭率队由沈仕杰带路，赶到麻雀坳。他们搜查到一处很隐密的山洞里，发现了薄老五的尸体，衣服兜里有那张图，其它什么也没有，更不用说金条。是灭口还是另有隐情，关大铭很疑惑。他们都没有想到，这其实是许暴牙一个胆大包天的阴谋，一个连环的缓兵之计。夜里，有人往罗三拐家里塞了一根金条和一封信，威胁利诱他。罗三拐抱着钱要拿、案照办的心理，悄悄把金条藏了起来。 罗三拐查到薄老五是借了陈照生的补锅挑子去严家杀了严父，断定二人有勾结，忙去抓捕陈照生，陈已逃匿。酒坊里，许暴牙、谭巧芸等非常兴奋，派出去联络的弟兄终于回来了，并与西山的同党商定了接应的事宜。许暴牙下令秘密准备，半夜就动身。关键时候，关大铭和罗三拐终于抓到了陈照生，陈立刻坦白了受许暴牙指令杀害薄老五等罪行，但对许暴牙派他与“省城老大”接头一事完全不知道。关大铭顿时明白上当了。袁润下令立刻动手，务必保证贾小蝈和结巴的安全。一只鸽子飞到酒坊后院，许暴牙接到内奸“灯影儿”的报警，赶紧准备做掉贾小蝈和结巴后逃逸。原来由于内奸的配合，许暴牙和谭巧芸早就知道二人来卧底的内情，借机走了一步险招，利用二人传递假情报，以牵制公安拖延时间。贾小蝈和结巴被吊起来命在毫发时，枪声骤响，公安人员冲了进来，关大铭奋身救下了二人。一场激战，全歼匪徒，活捉韩麻子等，只有许暴牙和谭巧芸利用喽罗抵抗时，从杂屋暗道逃走了。公安人员和协助部队立即封锁所有出路，要叫二人插翅难飞。
