In »You’re under Arrest!« geht es um die junge Streifenpolizistin Natsumi Tsujimoto. Allerdings hat sie ein kleines Problem: Es besteht die Gefahr, dass sie schon an ihrem ersten Tag zu spät kommt. Prompt entscheidet sie sich, einige spontane und verkehrswidrige Abkürzungen einzuschlagen, um noch pünktlich im Bokuto Polizeirevier, ihrer neuen Dienststelle, anzukommen. Doch natürlich – wie sollte es auch anders sein – geht das schief und Miyuki Kobayakawa, eine ausgezeichnete Mechanikerin und die beste Fahrerin der Polizei, gibt ihr einen Strafzettel. Verspätet und deprimiert kommt sie schließlich im Revier an – und ausgerechnet die Polizistin, die ihr gerade noch einen Strafzettel verpasst hat, wird zu ihrer neuen Partnerin! Anfangs herrscht noch eine unangenehme Spannung zwischen den beiden, doch bald werden sie zu guten Freundinnen und bilden das »weltbeste Team«. Egal, ob Verkehrsunfall oder Geisterfahrer … die beiden überstehen gemeinsam einfach alles.
