正森致电颖妍，指收到绑匪的电话说绑架了自己的女儿，但美琪已回家中，即表示绑匪把乐儿当作是美琪。颖妍听到后极度震惊，希望报警，但正森主张颖妍交赎金。 清早，刘秋与关溪说要离开一段时间，把乐儿交在张克手上。张克不知如何是好，二人叫他只要看守着乐儿便可。废校内只剩下乐儿与张克，张克对乐儿态度极好，并指自己只是逼于无奈；乐儿见到张克本性善良，也对他放下戒心。 乐儿张克欺骗颖妍 乐儿于张克不在时，偶然发现到颖妍的秘密，极度愤怒。她突然心生一计，提出与张克合作假扮绑架。颖妍在各银行提款，急想救回女儿，岂料她突然收到张克的来电，要求四百万现金，并声称知道颖妍作过甚么坏事。颖妍感到十分奇怪，但仍照着张克的话去做。 张克知道颖妍是乐儿之母后，觉得事有不妥，而且良心受责，但乐儿把自己的身世告知张克，更指事情完结后大家当作互不相识。张克自称不能拿定主意，只好等待好友回来，但乐儿指如果他们知道她不是正森女儿，一定会被杀。 刘秋誓言杀死乐儿 颖妍回到家中，一直回想着刚才的电话内容，她发现张克背后的声音正是乐儿，所以怀疑乐儿与朋友扮作绑架。耀权回来，颖妍一见到他便责骂他，为何把不用还钱的事告知乐儿。耀权强调会设法阻止颖妍移民，颖妍听后怒不可遏。颖妍心想为何耀权会知道乐儿的行踪，终发现耀权手提电话内的秘密。 关溪安排拿取赎金后的行程，刘秋认为成事后一定要杀了乐儿。关溪坦言不想杀人，并希望想办法说服乐儿。可是刘秋指纵然乐儿认不出二人，但张克没有化妆，万一张克被捉，也会令其余两人曝光。刘秋觉得赎金太少，于是致电正森要求更多赎金，岂料正森反打赌刘秋不敢撕票。 颖妍求助正森不果 颖妍根据手提电话的程式，来到丛林中四周搜索。张克在垃圾房，一直等不到颖妍，他想致电给乐儿，但乐儿却没有听电话，于是他只好回到废屋。一名警员来到废校调查，发现有事发生，立即通知乔柏。 颖妍去正森家，想与正森讨论下一步行动，正森指自己一时之间，不能筹到这么多钱，颖妍却若有所思。颖妍以为乐儿已回家，但她回到家后却不见乐儿；这时门钟突然响起。
