良太和火野正在打花牌。令人意外的是，良太在这方面很有天赋，把火野打得落花流水。家务分担表上写满了火野的名字。原来，他们是用打牌的方式决定谁来做家务。这时，玄关的门铃响起来，包括柳刃龙一在内三人十分紧张。良太从门镜往处看，然而门外并没有人。他战战兢兢地打开门，春菜、信也和洋介忽然冒了出来。原来，他们觉得良太最近的举动十分可疑，所以上门来查看。三人不听良太劝阻硬闯进屋中，看到凶恶的龙一和火野，吓得呆住了。良太扯谎说龙一是他当厨师的叔叔，来东京出差，在他的公寓暂住。良太想早点把三个朋友打发走，但是洋介觉得龙一有古怪，非要尝尝良太的这位厨师“叔叔”的手艺。龙一虽不情愿却也只得吩咐火野去买做咖喱的材料，但是由于洋介从中作梗，火野买回了与龙一要求的不一样的材料。乌贼是盐腌过的，咖喱是装装咖喱，西红柿罐头变成了蕃茄汁。洋介就是想用这个试一试龙一的真假。然而，龙一从容应对洋介的挑战，用这些不靠谱的材料制作了绝品侠饭——盐渍乌贼咖喱意式烩饭、蛋黄酱拌青花鱼风味豆腐。这些饭菜看起来质朴但味道绝佳。出身单亲家庭的春菜曾抱怨世界不公平，龙一借着料理告诉她，对于任何人来说最合适的口味莫过于自己家的味道，所以没有必要羡慕别人家的味道。
