皇太后得知陪康熙练武、和建宁玩耍的人都是海公公身旁的小桂子，为保护自己她决定除掉小桂子。晚上皇太后的师兄夜访尚膳监和海公公厮打起来，皇太后的师兄并未占上风。皇太后的师兄告诉皇太后海公公虽然眼睛瞎了却仍然能够躲避自己发出的钢珠，武功十分了得，而且海大富用的招数也不是出自少林派。康熙得了两名高手，决定利用紫云山狩猎的机会除掉鳌拜。康熙到紫云山狩猎，建宁假扮太监也跟了来，在路上建宁被石头绊倒，暴露了身份，索额图说自己会照顾建宁公主让康熙放心。康熙设计鳌拜，让鳌拜到树林中去猎杀麋鹿，鳌拜射中麋鹿就顺势喝下麋鹿的血。这时白尔赫带领禁卫军包围了鳌拜，双方在树林打斗起来。康熙等人在围帐之中等待白尔赫的好消息，陈近南却飞身来到康熙身边欲刺杀康熙，紧要关头韦小宝用身体挡住了康熙，陈近南认出了韦小宝，因自己欠小宝的人情，陈近南饶过了康熙，说自己从此与韦小宝两不相欠，说完就飞走了。眼看鳌拜就要被两名高手治服，黑鹰队队长铁虎却趁陈近南刺杀康熙之际跑进树林增援鳌拜，白尔赫被黑鹰队俘获。康熙带着建宁和韦小宝来到树林要亲眼看鳌拜被抓，庄双儿也来到树林欲抓康熙为父报仇，韦小宝穿着康熙的龙袍被双儿抓了起来，双儿问他为什么要替狗皇帝卖命，韦小宝声泪俱下的说自己也是一个苦命之人，被生活所逼来到皇宫当了太监。善良的双儿以为小宝说的都是真的很同情小宝。侍卫们赶到韦小宝让双儿赶快逃走。朝堂之上鳌拜说白尔赫公然杀害辅政大臣，自己已经把他就地处决了，康熙听了恼火至极。建宁被禁足她让喜鹊找韦小宝来宁寿宫陪她玩，海公公说这两天他要带韦小宝出宫，让韦小宝过两天再去看公主。海公公带着韦小宝出宫来到酒店，韦小宝却见到了茅十八。两人见面十分高兴，茅十八要带韦小宝走，韦小宝惦记着康熙的安全，说自己办完事情就回去找茅十八。韦小宝告别茅十八转回酒店，却发现建宁坐在海公公的对面。原来建宁打扮成宫女偷偷跑出宫来找韦小宝玩儿，小宝见到建宁顿时觉得头大无比。
