NHK的第92部晨间剧。出生于东京的津村希原本有一个蛋糕师的梦想，但是满脑子不切实际想法的父亲津村彻（大泉洋饰）让一家人的生活陷入危机，她和弟弟被迫跟着父亲和母亲蓝子（常盘贵子饰）连夜逃到位于能登半岛的外浦村求生。一家人好不容易得到当地人的信任，并且在晒盐的桶作元治（田中泯饰）和阿文（田中裕子饰）夫妇家里安定下来。可是彻死性不改，以致于津村希（土屋太凤饰）极度讨厌父亲的作为，早早扔掉了梦想，只希望能在当地市政府谋得差事，踏踏实实、本本分分地过完一生。只不过命运总会在不经意间发生转折，感受到前所未有悸动的女孩重拾梦想。 她偏离了为自己规划好的人生道路，而朝着“成为世界第一的西点师”的目标迈进。为此，她在横滨接受了严格的修炼，之后回到故乡能登开了一家小小的蛋糕店，每天早上烤制美味的蛋糕，为家家户户送去“新鲜出炉的笑容”。
