旻皓与水师营众人在营前处决海盗；营外站满饱受海盗祸害的市民。海盗行刑完毕，贝勒呼吁市民，切勿窝藏黄义，违令者当海盗论。突然有飞刀在贝勒身边飞过，插在墙上。刀上白布写上「血洗水师营」。原来，这正是张保仔所下的战书。 张保仔等人急回水寨，决心要与广东水师一战，准备途中张保仔遇上娣妹，张保仔把决战水师一事相告，但娣妹欲言又止。张保仔誓言待战胜归来后，即谈二人的感情事。临走前，张保仔把护身符交给娣妹。娣妹惊觉古钱币竟是二百年后的救命钱币，二人宿世情缘由此起！ 为了脱身满口谎言 郑一对决战水师一事，似乎有所保留，孙秀才和石娇都认为快到「七海争雄」，不能削弱元气。但张保仔却不以为然，决心要与水师一决雌雄，求郑一支持。 旻皓为张保仔所下的战书大感气愤，于是下令韩勇再次带兵，攻打张保仔水寨。但韩勇却说有伤在身，不能担此重任。旻皓即令夏婵用金疮药助韩勇疗伤；夏婵顿时面有难色，但也只能从命。 韩勇再次侵犯夏婵 夏婵在韩勇房内替他疗伤时，韩勇欲再次侵犯她；正当夏婵陷入险境之际，旻皓冲入房内救出夏婵。 旻皓把韩勇拖出操场，要他给予一个不杀他的理由。韩勇指自己是唯一能摆平各方阵营的人。韩勇哀求夏婵宽恕，并说自己是真心爱她，愿意娶她。小虎扔下大刀，叫韩勇自刎。但韩勇乘机袭击旻皓，幸好旻皓及时发觉，但夏婵却不幸受重伤，旻皓特意吩咐御医为夏婵治理。 突然尔泰鼓掌，更指韩勇是罪有应得，原来尔泰早知韩勇的禽兽行为，让旻皓气愤万分。尔泰不以为然，并指大量海盗已驶向水师营，而韩勇已死，士兵们将不听旻皓指挥，不知旻皓如何收拾这烂摊子。 不听军令困难重重 旻皓在营上远望，见大量海盗正全速驶来；旻皓想用火炮攻击，但火炮已是旧物，射程不远功效不大。 众将领见挂在营门口的韩勇尸体，战意锐减。听到尔泰形容旻皓是冷血狂魔，更无心恋战。旻皓命令众士兵上船迎战，可是，尔泰以韩勇为例，劝将士们不要听从贝勒指令。 旻皓见将士们不服从军令，想先杀尔泰以儆效尤，可是众将士更坚决不听命。 旻皓结果只能命令仅余的亲信领兵，可惜士兵不多，胜算不高。郑一把主帅之位交给张保仔，希望他能扬名立万。张保仔遥望旻皓，觉得他弱不禁风。… ...
