宝欣收到遗产承办书，只要处理好文件便有权卖出旧屋，余花指自己的妹夫是律师，可代处理。但宝欢他们听了宝禄的遗嘱后心有所思，并不舍得卖掉旧屋。他们带齐文件上律师楼，因为余花的关系，师爷很快便约见，更指只待文件处理完毕四人即可获得业权。四人离开律师楼时，宝欣与宝愉都立即指责宝欢，为何要律师楼联络他而不事先商量清楚；宝欢坦言以为叫律师楼联络他是件很平常的事。 宝欢说出出走原因 他们四人在电梯内，为这小事争论不休，但电梯却突然停止，令他们极度惊慌。在昏暗的电梯内，众人都说出心底话。宝欣三人不停指责宝欢，觉得父亲偏爱宝欢，可是当家庭最需要他时他却离家出走放弃家人。但宝欢指他要离家出走是被父亲所逼，而他所认识的父亲与弟妹认识的父亲并不相同。宝欢于是把儿时的经历，与他被父亲不合理的责罚，坦白地告知他们。宝欣回家时见到小菲穿了耳并戴上耳环，大感惊讶。余花指是小菲主动要求穿耳，小菲声言要像余花一样美丽，但宝欣并不欣赏，更责怪余花；但小菲并不听她的话，继续与余花研究扮靓之道。宝欣见到街猫肥仔在层架，欲爬上去想捉回肥仔时却在架上找到一封信。 指自己不再追名利 宝欢生日，但他宁愿在面店工作没有去庆祝。灿灿见他孤独一人，便搞些小玩意，除了为他庆祝外，还造了一个肠粉招牌给他，希望他可以把宝禄的肠粉，发扬光大。可是，宝欢自觉他的功夫并不到家，更不相信卖肠粉可以发达。有客人吃了肠粉后，觉得非常香滑要求宝欢再做，但宝欢拒绝。思福见到宝欢得到客人称赞后非常高兴，他坦言如果以前有人见到宝欢这样子，他会断定是认错人。宝欢觉得以前为求名利，六亲不认不择手段，但这段日子以来，他的人生观改变不少。 阿娇来港探望宝欣 思福与灿灿深夜去海滩，为的就是看日出。晨曦初露，他们都被太阳所吸引。灿灿突然拿出手机拍照，思福问原因，灿灿说是拍给宝欢看，思福感到错愕。宝欢早上回家，甫开门家人便出来与他庆祝，宝欢甚喜。当他吹完蜡烛后，宝欣递上了宝禄留下的另一封信。宝欣与大公司倾成生意后离开时，梅昭致电要她立即上深圳见梅母；宝欣感极为难但仍应承。但宝欣在大厦门口见到有人向甘查理发难，宝欣看不过眼即上前阻止，更把那人制服。宝欣遗失了回乡证，不能上深圳探阿娇，只求梅昭为她说好话；但当她回家时，却发现阿娇正在宝家中。
