在宝愉（张頴康饰）与余花（吕慧仪饰）的婚礼上，宝愉的富豪客人要坐主家席，想宝欣（滕丽名饰）一家分开坐。宝欣表示不会与丈夫梅昭（徐荣饰）分席而坐，更反诉说自己多年来的辛酸。虽有其他亲友与老父宝禄（刘江饰）在场，但宝欣如常发脾气。宝禄想等待大儿子宝欢（欧阳震华饰）到场才开始婚礼，可是弟妹都不放宝欢在眼内，宝怡（张彦博饰）更指全家人只有宝禄重视宝欢。见新娘余花已等了很久，宝禄也只能让婚礼开始。在婚礼上播放了宝愉夫妻的相爱影片，但宝愉却发现影片中，有一张属于余花前度男友的照片。宝愉大骂宝怡时，宝欢突然出现。宝禄生日，他准备了大量菜式希望能一家人食饭，但晚饭时间已过，仍没有一个子女回来。不久宝欢回到家中，却发现宝禄晕倒。宝禄过身后，宝欢欲通知弟妹关于安放宝禄骨灰之事，可是所有人都不回覆。于是，宝欢想到一个方法，才可以令他们出现。众人都已来到骨灰龛，但仍然互相指责，绝不退让。 为分钱答应住旧楼 宝欣指责宝欢迟到，但他反指宝禄在生时，他们总不会陪伴父亲，可惜现在已经太迟。宝欢带同宝家众人到宝禄的旧屋中听取遗嘱。可是当他们从唐楼楼梯行到家中时，已经气喘如牛相当辛苦，众人发现家中满布灰尘都不愿久留。宝欢把父亲的遗嘱读出，指遗嘱上写明把这唐楼分给宝欢与三弟妹，但要他们一同在旧居住九个月。众人听到这里都非常不满。而且他们计算过，旧唐楼只值五十万，根本是贴钱受罪，于是众人不打算迁入。岂料当他们知道唐楼市值一千二百万后即改变心意。 宝家弟妹刁难宝欢 百川帮宝欢搬运日常用品，但他搬到四楼后也感到非常疲累。宝欢在家露台发现一把旧雨伞，当打开时伞内外都一片灰尘。这时宝欢突然发现沙发上坐着两位老人家依兰（罗兰饰）与白桦（胡枫饰），更以为他们是邻居，因电视坏了所以过来看电视。百川见到古董伞，宝欢想打开它但遭百川阻止，指在家开伞会招惹鬼魂。宝家众人为了分钱决定住进旧屋，但他们一见面即争夺睡房。晚上，家人一同吃饭时宝欢才发现弟妹已变化很大。因众弟妹一直不顺从宝欢，所以对他百般刁难。众人因用电过度导致火灾，辛好宝家众人都及时离开灾场。但当宝欢询问白桦一家时，消防员却称不见他们。
