故事发生在遥远的某银河系中，一颗名叫阿斯达穆的行星之上。穆尼斯城因为天空中漂浮着月亮而被称为“月亮之眼”，有朝一日能够登上月球，是所有穆尼斯人心中的梦想。在这里，一种被称为“Big Foot”的机械人十分流行，它可以被用作各个途径，年轻人们则更喜欢将它们运用到一种名为“BFB”的运动竞技比赛之中。　　丹（下野紘配音）是生活在罗林镇的平凡青年，和大部分人不同，丹对机械人的存在充满了厌恶，因为丹的妹妹可可（花泽香菜配音）正是因为机械人而失去了双腿。一次偶然中，丹偶遇了一位名叫米兰达（伊藤静配音）的少女，米兰达带领丹驾驶着Big Foot，在其中，丹找回了久违的快乐，并且对BFB运动产生了浓厚的兴趣。
