　志贵的血终于让爱尔奎特的吸血冲动浮现出来，她虽用尽所有的力量抑制冲动，可是现在已经接近极限了。由於曾被志贵杀死过，所以爱尔这个“容器”出现了裂缝，而从裂缝中漏出来的就是她身为吸血鬼的本性。希耶尔对志贵说起一个古老传说般的故事：以前有一个叫作“月之民”的非人类族群，族里有一位美丽而不知污秽为何物之真祖的公主。爱上公主的“蛇”让公主喝下它的血，而那条“蛇”的名字就叫罗亚；喝下毒药的公主坠落地狱，犯下了最深的罪业。　　志贵渐渐习惯了在远野家的生活，秋叶觉得很高兴，甚至邀志贵一起享用餐後的茶点；不过，同班的几位男同学失踪的事还是让志贵感到担忧。跟秋叶聊到太晚的志贵，急急忙忙赶到公园找爱尔奎特，但始终不见她的人影。好不容易在街上找到爱尔奎特，却也同时发现了那几个失踪的同班同学，原来他们已经被吸过血，变成“死者”了。面对自己的朋友，志贵能够狠下心来除掉他们吗？　八年前的一场意外，让远野志贵的眼睛能够看到“死之线”，那是一种任何东西上都有，只要顺著切割就能轻易破坏物体的线。正当远野志贵为此而烦恼不已的时候，某个偶然巧遇的女子给了他一副眼镜，靠著这副眼镜封住“直死之魔眼”的力量，远野志贵才得以渡过了平静的八年。然而八年後的今天，他却在无意识的状况下以魔眼的力量杀死了一个女子。
