El Dr. Davidson (Neville) investiga junto al Dr. Monroe (Mitchell) y al Prof. Lancaster (Stone) una extraña fórmula. Cuando el Dr. Monroe fallece en circunstancias extrañas, un Superior del Gobierno, el Mayor Clarke (Newell), decide suspender a Davidson del proyecto y se interesa por la mujer de éste (Licudi) pensando que podría estar involucrada.
